Dunlin Calidris alpina = Calidris alpina schinzii On 31 May 1986, a nest of the Dunlin was found in the Lauwersmeer. It contained four eggs. It is supposed that it failed. This is the second confirmed breeding record of the Dunlin in the area. The first one was recorded in 1982.
