NORDIC GREYLAG GOOSE WORKING GROUP (1988) Nordic Greylag Geese Anser anser in the Netherlands. LIMOSA 61 (2): 62-72.

This paper deals with the preliminary results of a Nordic neck banding programme on the Greylag Goose. The marking started in Sweden in 1984, in Finland in 1985, in Norway in 1986, and in Denmark in 1987. Sightings of individually recognizable birds make clear that geese from different Nordic regions have separate wintering areas. Attention is paid to the role of the Netherlands during the moulting period (Oostvaardersplassen) and during migration (Dollard, Lauwersmeer, Oostvaardersplassen, Delta area).##### Greylag Goose Anser anser Greater White-fronted Goose Anser albifrons Taiga Bean Goose Anser fabalis Pink-footed Goose Anser brachyrhynchus = Anser fabalis brachyrhynchus Barnacle Goose Branta leucopsis Tundra Bean Goose Anser serrirostris Taiga Bean Goose Anser fabalis
