BEEKMAN J & DIRKSEN S (1983) Short contributions: Bewicks Swan Cygnus columbianus with yellow legs. LIMOSA 56 (1): 20-20.

A leucistic Bewick's Swan was observed between 21 February and 13 March 1981 in the Onnerpolder (Gr). The bird had bright orange-yellow legs with black dots over the whole length (like freckles). Its bill was normally coloured, the pattern being of the yellownebtype (cf. Evans 1977). This combination of characters has not yet been reported for a leucistic Bewick's Swan.
