Five Parrot Crossbills were trapped near Epe (Gelderland) on 28 November 1982 (two adult 00), 19 February 1983 (first year 0 + 'l') and 20 February (adult 0). Wing length and bill depth of those Parrot Crossbills and eight Crossbills L. curvirostra are shown in figure 1. These captures coincide with various records of Parrot Crossbills elsewhere in the Netherlands. An invasion took place in Southern Sweden and there are records in Great Britain.
