(1989) Actualities: Monitoring at the Vogelwarte Radolfzell. LIMOSA 62 (3): 161-161.

The ministry of Environmental Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany has granted a project at the Vogelwarte Radolfzell (under the leadership of P. Berthold) to study population changes of German and central European bird life. In this project there will, at least during 1989-93, (I) the Mettnau-Reit-Illmitz-Programm (MRIProgram) be continued at three trapping stations (cf. J. Orn. 127: 397-437) and (2) data of recent population changes of all European bird species be collected in a databank. After the five year period the results shall be compiled in a comprehensive review. The Vogelwarte Radolfzell asks for support for this project. Above all for reprints of relevant papers, unpublished data, student papers and so on. From July to November there is the possibility for amateur ornithologists,
