CDNA = Committee Rarities Dutch Avifauna This annual report of the Dutch rarities committee lists records of rare and scarce birds in The Netherlands in 1990 together with some older ones. Records extending into 199I are included. The three numbers in parentheses after the species' name refer to the total numbers in 18001968, 1969-89, and 1990, respectively. Interesting records include: Storm Petrel (marked influx), Short-toed Eagle (fifth and sixth), Pacific Golden Plover (tenth, but first since 1939), Bonaparte's Gull (third), Common Gull race heinei (third), Ivory Gull (second), Olive-backed Pipit (fourth), Blyth's Reed Warbler (first), Booted Warbler (fourth), Two-barred Greenish Warbler (first), Wallcreeper (first; same individual as previous winter), Two-barred Crossbill (first major invasion since 1889) and Parrot Crossbill (invasion).
