KRANENBARG S (1997) Short contributions: Inland-strayed Long-tailed Skua Stercorarius longicaudus victim of Goshawk Accipiter gentilis. LIMOSA 70 (2): 76-77.

Long-tailed Jaeger Stercorarius longicaudus Northern Goshawk Accipiter gentilis Pluckings of a juvenile Long-tailed Skua Stercorarius longicaudus were found near Wekerom (52?06'N, 5?42'E), Netherlands, some 80 km inland, on 2 and 6 October 1996. The two pluckings, about 150 m apart, consisted of feathers that appeared to be complementary and evidently belonged to one single bird, presumably killed by a Goshawk Accipiter gentilis.
