(2005) Thematic day 'PREY-PREDATOR INTERACTIONS IN BIRDS'. LIMOSA 78 (2): 79-79.

On Saturday, October 23, 2004 was the NOU to guest at the Royal NIOZ on Texel for a theme day on predation. The full 140 flocking Participants were not disappointed because there were interesting stories. The reciprocal relationship between prey and their prey was central. Not only was discussed how raptors applying to to come to their food, but also the method which prey animals to predation risk adjust. Will Cresswell which boasts many years experience with predation research, deposited in many publications, was special guest, but the other speakers were listeners on the edge of their seats. the summaries their stories follow below. the NOU can look back on a very successful meeting, which ended with a beautiful excursion, which besides many other types four Peregrines were observed.
