BRENNINKMEIJER A (1998) Black-headed Gull Larus ridibundus catches Wood Mouse Apodemus sylvaticus. LIMOSA 71 (4): 166-167.

While trying to steal a fish from a Sandwich Tern Sterna sandvicensis arriving at a colony in the Dutch Wadden Sea, a Black-headed Gull was seen catching a Wood Mouse by accident. Before the gull was able to swallow the mouse, a Common Gull L. canus robbed it from the astonished Black-headed Gull.
